Business Analyst and User Experience Researcher
As a business analyst, I was responsible for liaising with the end users of the company's pension administration system, Enpower, to identify business requirements and requests. I had to effectively document, organize, translate and simplify business, functional and non-functional requirements and deliver such to the software development vendor.
In addition, I was accountable for the evaluation process of the developed solution and would discuss the users’ feedback with the software development vendor.
As a business analyst, I was also responsible for supervising the A/B testing of each new release or upgrade while reporting results and feedback of testing to the software developers.
I also delivered training and provided post-implementation support to the users of Enpower software.
My role as a user experience researcher involved me following up with Enpower software users to ensure the new product/release meets their needs and requirements. This was done through independent research, study and analysis or users’ behavior. In addition, I worked with the software design and development team to incorporate research findings into new product releases.
Data Analyst:
As a data analyst, I performed complex analysis on our clients' portfolios and transactions, summarized such information and communicated them clearly to the portfolio managers, and also to the finance, investment and operations managers as required.
I also identified and analyzed trends in clients' data, made forecasts and explained variances on key performance metrics to the finance, investment and operations directors as required.
In addition, I developed and maintained several dynamic reports using crystal reports for various business units as required. This would require me to access our data warehouse to extract data relevant for my analysis, clean and validate such data to ensure quality and usability.
Finally, I worked on several migration projects including the migration of all clients data from Oracle database to MSSQL server.
Developer:
As a full stack developer, I was responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the company's intranet. My team was also responsible for developing and maintaining a web based application to meet the regulatory reporting requirements of all business units in the organisation.>
